The most prominent European motorcycle marque and an emerging leader in motorcycle innovation, Moto Guzzi has come a long way to make its name at the top. Under the ownership of Piaggio & C., it has not only become Europe’s leading motorbike producer but has also ranked 4th on the list of the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturers.
The company is widely known for its highly impressive motorcycle designs and innovations in the field. However, one distinctive element that you will only find in a Moto Guzzi bike is the transverse-style 90° V-Twin engine with a longitudinal orientation.
Apart from the company’s several success stories and major contributions to the motorcycle industry, Moto Guzzi has always stayed connected to its users and fans. One prominent example is the Moto Guzzi Proud Owner Club, “The Clan”, which was formed in 2014 and constitutes a large community of more than 50,000 people who love Moto Guzzi. The Proud Owner Club is a way through which fans and community keep themselves updated about the new models and developments, stay connected, share the problems they face regarding their motorcycles, and provide solutions.
To cherish and celebrate the Moto Guzzi Proud Owner Club on the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the company is releasing a special edition model, called the 2024 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Ten, in its V7 lineup. The Moto Guzzi V7 is already an established roadster model produced by the company, running successfully in the global market. It is simple, and elegant, and carries a rugged and balanced look loved by most young and new riders.
The 2024 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Ten Roadster is the same motorcycle as the Moto Guzzi V7 existing models with the same bodywork, frame, and engine. However, there are only a few elements and equipment that are replaced with new ones to make the bike look more premium and classy.
The gas tank has received a white paint job with two red-colored Moto Guzzi trademark eagles on both sides. The top of the gas tank has also received some graphics with red stripes to outline the top side of the tank. Half of this side is painted black and the other half side has received black and white box graphics like the motorcycle race finish line flag.
The V7 Stone Ten Special Edition Roadster also features bar-end side mirrors, red-colored springs on the dual rear shocks, red-colored engraved Moto Guzzi fonts on both wheels and Michelin sports-style tires.
To ensure a more striking and balanced look, the S.E. Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Ten also boasts an Arrow exhaust system with specially built mufflers by Moto Guzzi on either side of the bike thanks to the 90° V-Twin longitudinal layout. Apart from providing aesthetic benefits, the new exhaust system helps the engine produce an increased horsepower of 66.5 hp which was previously 65.2 hp at 6,700 rpm. The torque-producing ability has also increased from 72.94 Nm to 74.98 Nm at 4,900 rpm.
The 2024 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Ten Special Edition Roadster is expected to be provided to dealerships in April 2024. This bike will be disclosed to the public at one of the greatest motorcycle shows for motorcycle enthusiasts, the Verona Motor Bike Expo. The finalized listed price of this special edition roadster will start from $9,990 (USD) for the U.S. market and will be available at $12,290 (CAD) for the Canadian market. On top of the base price, there are taxes and registration fees as well.
