Chance Perdomo, Gen V Actor, Dies at 27 in Motorcycle Accident

Chance Perdomo, a 27-year-old British actor, recently passed away in a major motorcycle crash on March 31st, 2024. Perdomo recently appeared as Andrew Anderson in the TV show ‘Gen V,’ the spinoff of ‘The Boys.’ His untimely death has left the producers and other members of the TV show in a state of grief and shock over this tragic event.

“We can’t quite wrap our heads around it,” claimed the ‘Gen V’ producers. They also added, “For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always smiling and charming, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and, more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.”

Chance Perdomo’s publicist shared the news of his death with Variety, saying,

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident. Authorities have advised that no other individuals were involved.”

His fans and colleagues have also shared posts on social media expressing their condolences. Those close to Chance Perdomo knew him for his vibrant personality, immense acting talent, and compassion. 

“Our hearts are with Chance’s loved ones as we grieve this shocking loss. We will remember the special moments we had together, his infectious smile that could light up any room, his warm hugs and the authenticity he carried with him always,”

The ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ co-star, Kiernan Shipka, also paid homage to the deceased, claiming that his humanity was a generous gift. On Tuesday, April 3, 2024, Shipka took to her official Instagram handle and expressed her pain over her co-star’s death. 

“Chancey Pants. Oh man, this hurts. He was a one-of-a-kind soul. Just the most fiery, creative, loving, connected, and caring force you could possibly imagine. As playful as he was kind. As loving as he was hilarious. He never failed to make me laugh and he never failed to keep me on my toes (or off to them if he was giving me a piggyback…”

Due to Chance’s unexpected death, the mourning team of ‘Gen V’ TV show has postponed the release of Season 2. Before Chance Perdomo’s death, the filming of season two was scheduled to begin on April 8, 2024; however, it has been announced that the filming is delayed following the loss of one of the leading actors of the series.

The Deadline reported that the cast and producers were set to gather for a table read on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in Toronto, Canada. But the plans were disrupted when the news of Chance Perdomo’s sudden death broke out. It is reported that the production has delayed filming indefinitely until they find someone who can step into Perdomo’s shoes as one of the key actors of the ‘Gen V’ drama. The process will also include rewriting scripts and halting production for some time.


For those who may not know, Chance Perdomo began his career by playing Ambrose Spellman in a Netflix series, ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,’ inspired by the Archie comic. He starred in this supernatural drama before appearing in ‘Gen V.’ He is also known for appearing in movies, including Killed by My Debt and the After series, which immortalized his legacy in the entertainment industry.
