Laying a motorcycle down is better If It’s about to Crash, Is it a Myth or Truth?

For many, riding motorcycle is name of pure thrill, excitement and adventure, whereas, some might just see it as a cheap source of transportation. So, whatever you way is to ride, always keep in mind to make it safe for you and also for others. Most of you must have heard some people talking about what should be done, if there’s a chance of impending road crash. The most common answer must have been to lay down your motorcycle on the ground and it will be negotiated safely. The more interesting thing is that some people have already practiced it.

Even if it have proved successful for some individuals, it still looks very strange to put yourself in danger to avoid a probable threat. In particular, those who are beginners as riders or are not even interested yet in riding bikes won’t find it happening. On the other hand, what if someone is riding to go for work and haven’t worn much of protective gear, how would he be safe from getting rashes?

Perhaps this could have been somewhat working few years back when tire weren’t of such high quality and braking systems were also less efficient. In the present times, when ABS brakes have made quick bike stopping possible, then any such technique sounds strange.

However, the most authentic way is to get training from Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and wear safety motorcycle gear, such as biker jackets, helmets and some other body armors to ensure your safety.

It something with which some might agree and some might not, so it’s important to hear everyone’s say and then conclude whether it’s a myth or it really has something to do with true safety measures.
