The corner protectors are rubber pads that help prevent scraping if the side cases are dropped. KTM 1090 adventure side cases have lids with weather seals to prevent rain and dust from getting inside. The lids also have a key-lockable feature to prevent unwanted access to your stuff. To help make installation easy, the back of the side cases come with a quick-disconnect system.
