These are some really well constructed bags that can definitely take a hit. A few weeks ago I got in an accident and these bags save me from getting my legs crushed.

I am simple type of person so these bags are not fanciest out there but they sure are great solid bags that do the job just right

Better than described ...

Purchased these side cases for my 2016 Indian Scout and they are perfect!!! Each case came with proper installation hardware and instructions. I do recommend having two people do the install as the cases are somewhat heavy and as such, unwieldy for one person to hold, measure, and install hardware all while keeping the case aligned to the rear fender of the motorcycle. Do not use the existing rear fender washers but replace them with the spacers that come with the kit. These secure the cases to the rear fenders much better and make them more secure. All in all, it took about an hour and a half to install; this is from opening the box to standing back and admiring our handiwork and these beautiful side cases installed nicely on my Indian.

I couldn’t use the spools.

I couldn’t use the spools. They made the bags stick out to far. Just used spacers.
