The Harley Davidson Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection for 2024 has been released and this time, the company decided to celebrate the rock-and-roll culture within the H-D world. Harley Davidson is the flagbearer of rock music, promoting it for a very long time. The 2024 H-D Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection includes the three most notable Harleys coated in a Tobacco Fade custom paint job. If you are unfamiliar, Tobacco Fade's color scheme and graphics symbolize the look of a classic wooden guitar. It is also depicted in the front fender as it proudly carries the stylized guitar pick graphic as a medal.
Every year, Harley-Davidson develops a new theme to cherish one of the interlinked communities with the motorcycle culture and dedicate a premium-looking unique paint application to three existing Harley models. The 2023 Enthusiast Collection was the Fast Johnnie with an exclusive blue and white custom paint job and styling.
This year, the Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Collection includes the H-D Low Rider ST, H-D Ultra Limited, and H-D Tri Glide Ultra. As you can predict, these bikes are already the most premium in the Harley lineup, and with a specialized guitar-inspired tobacco fade custom paint job, they can break the bank. Only 2,000 models of each of the three with tobacco fade custom-paint jobs will be produced.
You can question or criticize Harley Davidson for this move but it turns out to be working for the company as the Enthusiast Collection sells fast every year. This marketing strategy helps attract and bring back the old Harley riders to replenish their desire to ride a unique Harley specifically built to make them stand out.
The 2024 H-D Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Collection models have the same sunburst pattern and graphics as you would see when you try to capture the sun in a picture and the rest of the background fades out. The tobacco fade color scheme has long been used on musical instruments, particularly guitar. The good thing about choosing the H-D Low Rider ST, H-D Ultra Limited, and H-D Tri Glide Ultra is the availability of large and wide fairings, tanks, and bags to display and hold more artwork, graphics, and paint jobs.
You can see the tobacco fade paintwork on fairings, gas tanks, and saddlebags. In the center, there is a metal-gold sunburst effect which is bordered by the caramel-colored pinstripe, collectively exhibiting a premium tobacco fade look.
On the front fender, the designer has brilliantly etched a guitar pick graphic, and the vinyl record-style Harley Davidson medallion on the gas tank completes the tobacco fade Enthusiast Collection look. To be honored as the special limited edition, the Enthusiast Collection logo is designed on the rear fender.
To make it clear, the Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Collection models have only received a cosmetic transformation. There are no modifications made to the engine and performance of these motorcycles. The Harley Low Rider ST carries the same 1,917 cc Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine and for the Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Collection model, you will need to pay $1,900 on top of its base price which is $23,399.
Similarly, both the Harley Ultra Limited and the Harley Tri Glide Ultra are fitted with the 1,868 cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine. You can have the Tobacco Fade H-D Ultra Limited edition by spending an additional $2,900 on top of $32,499. In this particular Tobacco Fade edition Ultra Limited, you are getting the premium custom sunburst pattern on gas tanks, fairing, fenders, saddlebags, trunks, and panniers.
On the contrary, the H-D Tri Glide Ultra in the Tobacco Fade variant will cost you $4,000 more than its base price of $37,999. The one major difference you will find on this particular Tobacco Fade Tri Glide Ultra edition is the availability of chrome finish trim. The rest of the two Tobacco Fade edition models are only available in blacked-out trims.
