These bags are nice, paint is a little thin and easily scratched, could benefit from a good clear coat, but the work great, in June I was in a wreck and my bike actually rolled a few times, and these bags took a beating, lid cracked on one side but they were latched shut and stayed latched through the whole accident and actually still latch and lock after, they are crushed a little from the bike landing on them but overall proves how sturdy these bags are. Definitely will be buying a new pair , as well as installing them on every bike I buy in the future
These bags are well constructed and look wonderful on the bike, but it took 4 hours to install them. The hardware had to be cut, drilled, grinded and repainted in order to function, the lid latches had to be removed and redrilled for proper closing, and in the process some of the paint on the bags chipped off. Seems like the paint finish is not very thick and definitly does not have a clear coat.
I would not recommend purchasing these bags if you are not very handy with power tools.
Super great quality in a nice aftermarket set of saddlebags. Very nice looking and great functionality. Little hard for me to install at first but over half the price of factory bags. Very satisfied with the quality and value.
