The Viking Panzer Yamaha V Star 650 Custom XVS65T large leather motorcycle saddlebags are made from heavy-duty water-resistant Viking leather. The bag provides a tight fit and a streamlined styling that flows with the lines of the fender. The hard-shelled construction of these bags ensures they never sag or lose their shape even after extended use. The Yamaha 650 Custom saddlebags are key lockable hence theft proof, giving you complete peace of mind when you are away from the bike, which is a unique feature of Viking Bags innovation. With close to 1993 cubic inches of storage space, the bag can fit a half helmet with ease and includes a detachable 3-pocket organizer that can be easily put on and off using the Velcro strips lined inside the bag. The lid opens to the front making sure it doesn't interfere with the motorcycle seat. A reflector is embedded in each bag to provide extra visibility and meet mandatory safety requirements. The V Star 650 Custom bag comes with all the included hardware, saving you hundreds of dollars and the headache of finding the hardware that fits your bag and your bike. In addition, we have added a pair of LED lights with the bags for you to look through your items in the dark. For campers, we have added a Power Bank in case you are stuck somewhere with no source of electricity to keep your electronics going.

Installed these yesterday on my Vstar650 Custom. I have a 28 year background as a finish carpenter so take that into account when reading this review. 7/10 fit and finish based solely on the lock mechanism. I predict failure based on the cheap sheet metal lock housing inside the bags. The kit had plenty of bolts washers and spacers to cover a wide variety of bike. Bags mounted square and plumb only because of a very careful layout. You will drill your own bags to position them on the hardware. I used a 2x4 taped onto my exhaust as a rest to follow that line and then used painters tape to secure bag to the bracket for layout marks. The bags themselves are of high quality and the mount system is very sturdy.
